What Happened: Crossrail have recently been advised of the following issue: During the refurbishment of a Holland Lift T210 Mobile Elevating Working Platform (MEWP), structural defects were identified by a specialist MEWP supplier. The specialist supplier has advised their clients that all Holland Lift T210 MEWP’s are taken out of use due to the risk of component failure. The manufacturer of the MWEP has been advised and their response is pending. Actions: Check whether this type of MEWP is being used on your site. If they are, they should withdrawn from use. They should only be returned to use once they have been inspected by the manufacturer or supplier and confirmation has been provided that they are safe to use.
