HEAR Application Important dates Fill in the HEAR application Guide with your parents/guardians. From November 2018

Make a CAO application at www.cao.ie. Fill in the HEAR online application at www.cao.ie. Gather your supporting documents. Remember these can take up to 8 weeks to issue. Contact www.revenue.ie for p21

Apply to the CAO by 5.15pm. Indicate that you want to apply to HEAR.

Complete all elements of the online HEAR application form by 5.15pm. Gather all the supporting documents relevant to your application. Submit copies of supporting documents to CAO, Tower House, Eglinton St. Galway by 5.15pm.

P21 Statement of total income for year ended 2017for all people in paid employment. Notice of Assessment for 2017-statement of total income for people who are self employed. Form RP50-for parents/guardians who received a lump sum in 2017 as a result of being made redundant.

Department of Social Welfare (DSP form) for parents/guardians who received social welfare payments in 2017 (download from CAO website) Make sure your copies are clear and easy to read. Put your name, CAO number and PPS number on all documents. Faxed/emailed documents are not acceptable. Keep the original of all documents and obtain a certificate of posting from An Post every time you post documents. For confirmation that the documents arrived safely in CAO enclose a stamped, selfaddressed postcard with details of all documents you have submitted. April-June 2019

Attend mandatory HEAR orientation programme.
