Helping Others Follow Jesus. That’s our mission here at Asbury. And yes, it’s simple. But so is the Great Commission. Jesus said to “make disciples,” so that’s what we are here to do. In fact, everything we do—in every ministry and for every age group—is focused on helping others follow Jesus. If that’s a mission you believe in, we’d love for you to join us in worshipping Him, learning His ways, and spreading His Word. Today you’re a guest with us. But after today, you’re just part of the family!

Refugee Weekend April 21-23 On Sunday, April 23, Asbury is kicking off a new global outreach initiative with special focus on the Syrian refugee crisis. We are building bridges with Syrian and Lebanese churches to take part in a disciple-making movement and partnering with World Vision to help provide life-changing support for refugees. World Vision vice president Steve Haas will be sharing in all services, and we will be giving our congregation practical opportunities to respond. We will also be hosting the World Vision Experience Truck. During your 20-minute journey through this experience, you will witness despair and hope in a brothel in Southeast Asia, see how God is working in the midst of the Syrian refugee crisis, and join Christ in the midst of extreme poverty in Africa. For more information, visit asburytulsa.org.
Watch and Pray Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour? Watch and pray..” Mark 14:37-38 Commencing with Holy Week, we’ll “watch and pray” to seek God for our church, city, nation and world. Individuals or small groups select one hour Monday – Friday between 6 am and 9 pm that will be theirs to pray intentionally every week. You may pray any place you choose. Prayer guides will be provided online and in the prayer rooms to assist you. This ongoing wave of prayer will conclude with the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Select your personal hour at asburytulsa.org/prayerwave.
