hen has God surprised you? I wonder if Philip was surprised when God sent the angel to tell him to leave the exciting evangelistic ministry he was a part of to go on a desert road trip, and upon arrival, the mission field he found was only one man. The God-ordained result was that Ethiopia ended up with a Christian Secretary of the Treasury, which likely brought about endless opportunities for the lost souls in Africa to turn to Christ. It makes one wonder how many blessings we miss out on because we find the request too far outside of our comfort zone.

3. The Lord often guides us to people and situations we wonder about at the time. Looking back on your journey, can you recall such a time that provided a learning experience that drew you closer to God?
