As 2017 comes to a close we have been so blessed to once again take the message of hope and encouragement to the students of Hillsborough County and beyond. We are humbled and grateful for the opportunities given by so many teachers and schools to be in the classroom to share the message of Sexual Risk Avoidance. While one of our speakers was presenting in one of our schools, a student shared how the Impact program changed their life. "I wish someone would have told me about Impact sooner. It would have saved me so much pain but I am grateful that I was able to hear the truth." - Senior at Steinbrenner High School. Many times we don't realize the Impact we have on others.
This year Impact has seen continued growth! ● We had the largest number of students apply for our Summer Staff program. Summer staff is made up of 3 teams with 10 -12 students that present over the summer to over 40 different sites (Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA's, Parks & Recreation centers and churches). ● Our summer camp had its largest attendance with 95 attending Camp Agape. After summer camp and as a result of the spiritual growth experienced, a weekly girl’s small group was established to continue to meet the spiritual needs of the students. We are so thankful for the girls who participate and the commitment they have made to continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord. ● Through our fundraising events, Impact's Got Talent, the Impact Celebration and our new Coach Bingo event, the Lord increased our monthly Impact partners and community support. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve thousands of students each year. Because of your support and faithfulness many students have made life changing decisions towards Sexual Risk Avoidance enabling them to reach their goals and dreams! Thank you for investing your time, talents, and resources. Impact is most appreciative of our partners, supporters and volunteers. Together we are making an "Impact" on this generation of students!
