Heritage Praise & Prayer Guide November 11 – November 17, 2018 Sunday, November 11 • Daily Bible Reading – Matthew 25-26 • Family Worship – Praise God for the ability to meet together and to worship our God! Ask that The Spirit would enable us to live in light of the Word that was preached today. Pray that we would live out the truth of God’s Word throughout this week! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Dave and Elizabeth Mayer (Campus Bible Fellowship—Binghamton). ◦ Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner: Pray for this outreach that they would see new students come and that God’s Spirit would save some at this event! Monday, November 12 • Daily Bible Reading – Matthew 27-28 • Healing Journey – Pray for the ladies’ Healing Journey Bible Studies that meets weekly. Ask God to use His Word in the lives of the women who are studying. Ask for the Holy Spirit to bring spiritual healing. • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Kristi Walker (ABWE— Berlin, Germany). Praise God for answered prayer regarding her intern’s (Caleb Curtis) Visa. It was approved. He doesn’t have to leave the country and can continue ministering! Tuesday, November 13 • Daily Bible Reading – Luke 1 • Missions Committee – Pray for our Missions Committee (Paul Osborn, Michael Storey, Rich Benedict, Reid Anderson, Skip Schneider) as they meet tonight. Pray for them as they seek to best minister to our missionaries and how to help those who are transitioning from full-time to retirement. • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Jonathan and Sarah Weber (Belgian Evangelical Mission—Belgium). Wednesday, November 14 • Daily Bible Reading – Luke 2-3 • 50th Anniversary Committee- Pray for those involved with the planning of our 50th Anniversary

Celebration (Lisa Konzelman, Michelle Hammaker, Scott Cleveland, Kelly Flowers). Ask for wisdom as they organize details regarding our celebration. Ask that God would begin to move in the hearts of people to attend and to help out in various ways. •

Missions – Pray for the ministry of Dale and Jody Davis (ABWE—Bangladesh). ◦ Pray for “S.” who works closely with Dale. He’s heard the Gospel. Ask the Holy Spirit to draw Him!

Pray for the Hospital: Administration as they navigate all the legal and governmental challenges. Also ask God to provide more medical staff. Pray for Local House Churches (around the hospital): as they struggle with financial needs, leadership, and sometimes persecution.

Thursday, November 15 • Daily Bible Reading – Luke 4-5 • Our Staff – Pray for our church staff (Glenn, Paul, Michelle, Scott, David, Beth). Ask that God would give us wisdom and insight on how to best serve our church body. Pray that we would have discernment on where to focus our time and energy that is most effective for our church and the Gospel! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Dr. Heather Fowler (ABWE—Bangladesh). ◦ Recent outbreak of TB: Pray for wisdom for treating those not tolerating the meds available. Pray that we won’t have any more potentially lethal cases. Pray as we follow up with family members. ◦ Medical Licenses: The Bangladeshi Licensing Board has put strict requirements for listings that they cannot meet right now. Pray for God to intervene on our behalf and for wisdom as the team interacts with government officials. Friday, November 16 • Daily Bible Reading – Luke 6-7 • Operation Christmas Child – This is collection week. Praise God for all of those who donated shoeboxes! Ask that God would bless them for their generosity! Pray that those who still have shoeboxes would be reminded to fill them and bring them to church on Sunday! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Sana and Nancy Singh (BMM Bibles International—India). Saturday, November 17 • Daily Bible Reading – Luke 8-9 • Our Sunday Ministry– Pray for our church body in light of worship tomorrow. Ask for the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts and minds to worship. • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Fred and Rachel Whitman (BMM—Italy). Our Church Family You can use the church directory to call them and ask what you can be praying for them about. Feel free to also send them a note of encouragement letting them know you prayed for them this week!
