December 2 – December 8, 2018

Sunday, December 2 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 9-10 • Family Worship – Praise God for the ability to meet together and to worship our God as a body of believers! Pray for those in our congregation who do not know Christ. Ask that The Spirit would enable us to focus on Him and how we can take our next step in our relationship with Jesus! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Ken and Jinner Rudolph (ABWE—Missionary Mobilization). ◦ Ken will be speaking this week at our AWANA Grand Prix. Pray for him as he prepares and delivers the Gospel! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Doug and Sharon Martin (ABWE—Area Director of North America). Monday, December 3 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 11-13 • Heritage Christmas Follow Up– Praise God for all of our guests who do not attend a Gospel teaching Church. Pray for the follow up conversations of our people and those guests. Ask for the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin and the need for Christ as their Savior. Pray specifically that they would come back to our church on Sundays to hear the Gospel again! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Steve and Sabrina Marshall (Central Missionary Clearinghouse— France). Tuesday, December 4 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 14-15 • Personal Growth – Praise God for the many blessings we have in Christ including the power of the Holy Spirit! Ask that Holy Spirit would give all of us at Heritage a desire to grow, to be More Like Jesus every day. ◦ That we would have a desire to be More Like Jesus. ◦ That we would have protection from sin. ◦ That we would have a desire to build deep relationships that help us grow! ◦ That we would have a desire to show “hessed” love to one another. ◦ That we would have a desire to read The Word. ◦ That we would have a desire to pray both individually and corporately! ◦ That we would have a desire to see people come to Christ. ◦ That we would live in light of Christ’s return! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Tim and Barb Vermilyea (ABWE—Quebec).

Wednesday, December 5 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 16-17 • AWANA – The AWANA Grand Prix is tonight! Pray for Ken Rudolph as he speaks the Gospel message. Ask for the Holy Spirit to draw and use His word tonight. Ask God for this to be the night of salvation for some! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of David and Dawn Spink (ABWE—Brazil). ◦ Newly called Brazilian Pastor (4th Church Plant); pray for transition as he begins pastoral responsibilities.

Pastor Raimundo, 67 years old and blind in one eye. ▪ Pray for health due to a lack of clean water. ▪ As we works with two church plants in the interior.

Upcoming 3 months of furlough (coming to HBC!!!).

Thursday, December 6 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 18-20 • New Believers – Praise God for the recent new believer last week (Jack), and our new believers this year. Pray that God would use His Word, His People and His Spirit to create a desire for growth. • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Rich and Julia Rudolph (Servant Leaders—Germany) ◦ Continue to pray for Nico and Maro, who were recently saved as they pursue baptism. Friday, December 7 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 21-23 • Preparation for Christmas – Praise God for the gift of the Jesus born of the Virgin, and that ultimately He came to die for our sins! Pray that this season the Holy Spirit to help us focus on the meaning of Christmas. • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Mark and Diane Henzler (ABWE Global Neighbors—Greece). ◦ Continue to Pray for their Church Planter Training, which includes Greeks, Romans and Muslim background believers. Saturday, December 8 • Daily Bible Reading – Acts 24-26 • Our Sunday Ministry– Pray for our church body who will be serving in a variety of ways tomorrow. Ask that our guests from last week would begin to connect in ABFs. Pray that The Spirit of God would allow focus as we praise and exult the name of Jesus! • Missions – Pray for the ministry of Tim and Laura Compton (ABWE—Thailand). ◦ For their ministry while they are traveling in the States. ◦ Continued learning in speaking Thai ◦ College Students they are discipling: Pi, Fon, Em, and Bing
