HIGH POINT CHURCH INTERNSHIP PURPOSE AND PRIORITIES Purpose: The purpose of the High Point Church internship program is to provide an opportunity for the next generation of church leaders to learn how to put into practice what God is stirring in their hearts. Priorities: Flexibility- High Point Church recognizes that God is moving powerfully among the next generation and will seek to be as flexible as absolutely possible so that any person who wants to be an intern, can be. Learn by doing- High Point wants to equip interns with skills, information, and passion by giving them the opportunity to do practical and meaningful ministry. Theological growth- High Point understands that in order to truly build God’s Kingdom, one needs more than just passion; they need a solid understanding of God and His Word. Therefore, interns at High Point will be trained theologically. Coaching- High Point realizes that learning from the past is essential to successful ministry in the future. As a result, each intern will be coached and mentored by their supervisor throughout the internship experience. Innovation- High Point understands that to reach people for Jesus that have never been reached we need to do things that have never been done. With that in mind, interns are encouraged to create, innovate, and discover new ways to build the Kingdom of Jesus in Madison and around the world.
