There are 8 (4:12) verses that we use to define our Gather, Growing and Going as a youth ministry. These scriptures give us guidelines for how we minister to students and what we need to pass on to them for their own life. They help us remember what is really important in working with teens.

Tier 1 This is our introductory mission trip. It’s 3-5 days, inexpensive, requires little training, and is within the student’s own culture. For this tier we use our Spring Break Mission Trip to Spokane.
Who We Are Fusion is the High School Ministry of Easthaven Baptist Church which includes students in grades 9-12.
Regular Activities Wednesday Night These weekly gatherings allow us to really focus on the Word of God. We spend time on topics that are important to teenagers. We connect with God in worship and prayer and we connect with each other in small groups. Fusion meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15pm to 8:00pm. We meet in the main auditorium.
Special Events Special Events are essential because they allow us to take what we are learning and put it into action. Whether it be through service, outreach or just a fun activity, special events put us in a place where we can be changed and used by God. We get together for major, special events at least 4 times a year. Small groups also get together every quarter to connect.
Sunday Morning Sunday Morning Bible Study is another opportunity for us to continue growing together and in Christ. Bible study is for grades 9-12, and meets in rooms 405 a & b from 11:00am to 12:00pm, during our 2nd morning service. This room is down the hallway at the north end of the gym.
Missions Mission trips are a great way to get students committed to a life of praying for, giving to and going on missions. Fusion has a three tier strategy for mission trips that encourages high school students to develop hands on missions experience.
Tier 2 This is our mid-level mission trip. It’s 1-2 weeks long, requires some training/experience and exposes students to a different culture. For this tier we have offered a trip to Mexico, with YWAM, in the summer and a trip to Heart Butte with Youth Works.
Tier 3 This is our advanced mission trip. It too is 1-2 weeks long, but requires more training and is more difficult in terms of cultural shift and work expectations. It is designed for juniors and seniors in high school. We have been sending teens to the Czech Republic for over 4 years.
