This leads to the inner hall where all the principal rooms are accessed and the wide staircase to the 1st floor. The drawing room is delightful being dual aspect with French doors opening onto the terrace and boasting wonderful views over Salisbury. There is also an open fire and a new oak floor. The dining room has two French doors opening out to the garden and has exposed beams. Double doors lead to the conservatory which also gives access to the terrace. The current kitchen looks out over paddocks and has a good range of floor and wall cupboards. There is a double neff oven and 5 ring ceramic hob. An excellent utility room with plenty of space for coats and boots and a cloakroom can also be found. On the lower ground is a study which leads through to the family room which benefits from a large light well. On the first floor the bedrooms and bathrooms have again been refurbished to an exacting standard and all have fitted wardrobes. The bedrooms are all very light and benefit from similar height ceilings to downstairs and with large sash windows. The bathrooms are of a very high standard and include Hans Grohe fittings, a Royce Morgan bath and in the family bathroom there is a 2 basin vanity unit with green marble top. There are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a bedroom with direct access to the family bathroom and a further bedroom.

Outside The house is approached through a five bar gate and a long drive which leads to the front of the house with a circular gravel turning area and parking for several cars. Adjacent to the front of the house are two large flower beds with box hedging, planted with snowdrops and bluebells. To the west of the house is a large terrace bordered from the paddocks by flower beds full of lavender and shrubs. The remainder of the garden wraps round the house and is mostly laid to lawn with a willow tree and two apple trees. Planning permission A new owner would be able to continue to enhance Holt Farm as planning permission was granted in 2011 to demolish the single storey wing and construct a new single storey extension. A new two storey extension with basement has also been approved where the current conservatory lies and would extend out into the garden (see planning permission S/2011/0652). The result will be a very impressive and spacious house. On the ground floor would be four reception rooms and a large family kitchen, and a pool, gym and media room in the basement. Upstairs there would be a master bedroom with dressing room and ensuite bathroom, five further bedrooms and three bathrooms. Planning permission (S/2010/0855) has also been granted to demolish redundant agricultural buildings and for change of use of two of the retained barns to a holiday let and a shooting lodge. The holiday let will consist of three bedrooms, kitchen and sitting room, while the shooting lodge will be one large room with kitchen and cloakrooms.
