WATCH THE VIDEO 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 DISCUSS AND APPLY

Tell us about some of the different (good and bad) Christmases that you have experienced. Read John 1:14. What is the significance of Jesus making His dwelling among us? What did Jesus leave to make His home with us? What experiences did Jesus experience that we experience? What did He not do or feel? Read Hebrews 4:14-16. What are we told to do because of what Jesus did by making His dwelling among us? What do each of these look like in day-to-day life? Why did Jesus show us both grace and truth? In your relationship with God, do you lean toward grace or do you lean toward truth? What's the problem with either one? What is the difference between giving Jesus a tour of your life and transferring the title of your life to Him? What do we do to transfer the title of our lives to Jesus? ENCOURAGE AND PRAY

WATCH THE VIDEO 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3:19-20 DISCUSS AND APPLY

What are some of the ways that we help people feel welcome in our lives? Read Revelation 3:19-20. What does Jesus tell us to do to put the welcome mat our for Him? When are some times that people hear Jesus' voice and not respond to Him? When Jesus says, open the door, what does He mean? Is the God of the universe really waiting for us to open the door? What does it look like to enjoy your relationship with God? How does it effect your life? What changes? What does it look like to enjoy Jesus? Read Galatians 4:4-7. What do we learn about Christ making His home in us from this passage? What is true of me because I am a believer in Jesus? What is one thing you can do this week to put out the welcome mat for Jesus and live as His son or daughter?
