Home to Home Ministries Pastor Wayne Wingfield, Executive Director Spring 2014 ‘They

replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”’ Acts 16:31

Director Announces Retirement At our recent Home to Home Board meeting, I announced that effective May 1, 2014, I will retire. Due to the change in my responsibilities in caring for my devoted wife, Pat, who has Alzheimers, and after much prayer and discussion with our two daughters and other family, we will be moving from High Point, NC to Lynchburg, VA, my hometown. The facility we will move to is near our youngest daughter, Beth and her family. I have a brother and a sister in Lynchburg and Pat has family not far away too. We will rent an independent apartment, with assisted living provided as needed, along with memory care when that is needed. We have been blessed to live in North Carolina, serving in several ministries for more than 36 years, including eight with Home to Home! We are blessed that you have been a vital part of all that God has done and will continue to do through Home to Home carrying the good news through the local church. Home To Home Ministries, Inc.

God has clearly led the way and given us peace in providing our new home in Lynchburg. Our address will be Liberty Ridge, 30 Monica Boulevard Lynchburg, VA 24502. The view overlooks the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. We hope you will come to visit us there. Many thanks to all of you, our prayer partners and friends, for standing by us. Together, we have touched the lives of many families and individuals and pointed them to Jesus. Mark your calendars for April 26, 2014, at 7pm for a special event at Providence Place in High Point featuring Rick Webb Family Singers and my brother, evangelist Steve Wingfield. This will be a great time of celebration for Home to Home and we want you to be present!

This fall, we trained four people in Evangelism Explosion at the Congo church with Pastor Patrick Miboto. In 2014, Pastor Wayne began discipling two Hispanic men at CBC, along with Lance and Jin Gaskell who are missionaries to Rwanda on a home assignment in High Point Adopt-a-block continues to influence homes and neighborhoods for Jesus.

Churches may request items from the HTH warehouse through the website. Please contact us and encourage your church to donate household goods to keep the ministry going! Home to Home Ministries continues to expand in reaching out and including more churches in High Point and surrounding area. Due to repairs on our two trucks, I share with you a concern. The pickup needed new tires and break shoes and the box truck needed inspection which require additional cost. Therefore, we are very close to the end of our resources. I remind you that we have never operated in the red. Please pray with us and consider how you can help with this critical need.

Let us rejoice in the Holy Spirit’s work of spiritual multiplication, as people are connecting the dots between the Word of God and everyday life. Take your place in the greatest movement, for the greatest purpose, in the name of the greatest Person who ever lived!

Home To Home exists to support the witness of Churches and ministries among the most needy of our community – “Our Jerusalem”. Those in need may be the unsaved, those being disciples or Christians in need – the basic requirement is that a legitimate need exists that the individual(s) cannot meet themselves and that the requestor (a non-profit entity) does not readily have at hand the ability to meet.
