MAGNIFICATION CONTRAST ❖ The Wedding Feast parable ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦

The feast was ready - servants sent to invite to the wedding The first group invited was unwilling The second group made light of the wedding feast The king went and found others - no force on His part but no honor on the people’s part

❖ King David and the Ark ✦ David was bringing the Ark back to Jerusalem ✦ Not everyone was happy about it (2 Samuel 6:20-22 NIV)

MAGNIFYING GOD IN YOUR LIFE ❖ Treat God and His things as a big deal ✦ He is a big deal - His Kingdom, His church, His word, His ways (Acts 4:24 NKJV)

❖ Acknowledge God’s place in your life ✦ David declared that the Lord chose and made him a ruler ✦ We are God’s chosen and He has made us (1 Peter 2:9 NKJV)

❖ Have a willing heart to respond to Him ✦ He invites, He never forces, so you have to be willing ✦ The more willing you are to respond to Him to obey His promptings and His word (Isaiah 1:19 NKJV)
