The Things I Do 1. I’m much too young to go abroad To teach and preach the word of God, But I can show I know it’s true, Quite simply, by the things I do. 2. The people in my neighborhood Will judge the gospel bad or good By how I act at work and play, And not just on the Sabbath day. 3. I’ll take my friends to church with me, Where I will act with dignity. My rev’rence and my happy face Will tell them it’s a sacred place. 4. In ev’rything I do they’ll see I am what I profess to be. Then when the elders find their door, they’ll say, “Come in and tell us more.”

MEMORIZE 13TH ARTICLE OF FAITH I Am a Child of God 1. I am a child of God, And he has sent me here, Has given me an earthly home With parents kind and dear. 2. I am a child of God, And so my needs are great; Help me to understand his words Before it grows too late. 3. I am a child of God. Rich blessings are in store; If I but learn to do his will, I’ll live with him once more. 4. I am a child of God. His promises are sure; Celestial glory shall be mine If I can but endure. Chorus Lead me, guide me, walk beside me, Help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do To live with him someday.

“DO IT NOW!” Motto: President Spencer W. Kimball

We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
