Components

• Barrel the barrel contains the medication for your pet. • Plunger the plunger is pushed in to administer the medication and also contains the marking to measure the medication before administration. • Dial Ring the dial ring is a screw-like washer that allows you to control how much medication to administer. • Syringe Cap the syringe cap prevents medication from spilling out before administration.

Directions for use:

• Make sure the syringe cap is securely fastened on the Dial-A-Syringe, and then hold the syringe so the end with the cap is on your left. • Confirm the amount (in mLs) needed to be administered to the animal. • Rotate the dial ring until the left side if the ring line s up with the dose you need to administer. • If the number on the plunger nearest the barrel is not zero (0), you will need to rotate the dial ring to the number on the plunger closest to the barrel plus the amount needed to be given. For instance, if you have a 60cc syringe and are required to give 15mLs per dose, the first time you will rotate the dial ring to 15, the second time you will rotate to 30, the third time will be 45, and the final time will be 60. • Once the left side of the ring is placed at the correct amount to be administered to the animal, remove the syringe cap and administer to the animal by placing the tip in the side of the mouth and pushing the plunger in until the dial ring hits the barrel. • After administration of the medication, clean the tip of the syringe with a damp cotton ball or paper towel and then replace the syringe cap. • Wash your hands and store the medication out of reach of children or pets.
