HAPPY NEW YEAR! It seems like it was just yesterday that we rolled out our Happy New Year 2014 edition of Humenik’s Highlights. Time has become very elusive. At times we need to disconnect from the web of instant messaging, social media, and relax a little, make time for our families and extended families; actual face to face time. The virtual world you will always have with you. Aging parents, grandparents, greatgrandparents, aunts and uncles you will not. Living every day to the fullest should include loving your loved ones. When was the last time you actually wrote a handwritten letter to tell someone how much you love them? Never? Seize the pen and paper, then seize the day! Do you have hard feelings between you and a friend or family member? Extend the olive branch. Life’s to short to hold grudges. Besides, they drain the life right out of you. So we wish you a Happy New Year! How happy this new year is going to be relies upon you.

INDIANS VS. CUBS AT WRIGLEY FIELD, CHICAGO TOUR Start feeding your piggy bank! Join us on a whirlwind tour of the Windy City this summer June 16th thru 18th. Wrigley Field, from the ivy covered wall to the rooftop spectators across the street, is the second oldest stadium in the grand old game. Our own Cleveland Indians will be facing the Chicago Cubs. Day one will be a travel day, with an afternoon meal, topped off with an evening game at the ballpark. Day two will be a full day of sightseeing, shopping, or whatever you heart desires, using your one day pass with on/off privileges on the Grayline Trolley. Sites include: Sears Tower, Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute, Navy Pier, Water Tower, John Hancock Tower, Hard Rock Café, Wrigley building and Fort Dearborn. For an 8-hour day, you can enjoy what you want to see. Further details to follow in the next newsletter. Check the “I’m Interested” box and send it in. Joseph F. Humenik, Jr. Funeral Director
