Humility, the Key to Revival 2 Chronicles 7:11-15
I.
Revival must begin with God’s people; this includes me and you. A. Revival comes when God’s people humble themselves, pray, seek God’s face, and turn from their wicked ways. B. When they do these things, God promises to hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Pride hinders genuine revival. A. God hates pride.

Pride is the opposite of humility.

Pride promotes self rather than God.
Pride harms the individual. A. Pride brings destruction.

B. Pride brings shame.

C. Pride leaves little hope for improvement. D. Pride causes a person to forget God. IV.
God chastens the proud.
V.
Pride makes us blind to our true spiritual condition.
