25.1 Part List a. Hydraulic Fluid Containers of Plantohyd 40N

25.2 Description The hydraulic system on the Endless Pool is run using a high grade industrial hydraulic fluid that is biodegradable and safe for application in a pool environment. Its excellent demulsibility allows easy skimming from water, and more than 90% of the oil will biodegrade in 21 days, well exceeding the standard for "Readily Biodegradable." It is important that you fill the tank with this oil only and that no substitute fluid be used. Shown in the table below are some inspection results. Although the pool does not use the oil as a car does, the oil will gradually become more viscous and require changing. The oil change is usually covered in the three-year tune up, a scheduled maintenance procedure that our Customer Service Department will notify you about. Endless Pools will request that a sample of your oil be sent to us. We will evaluate the viscosity and make a recommendation as to whether your pool requires an oil change. The oil's life is a function of usage and climate. Should you use the pool more than half an hour per day, or if the power unit is located outdoors in a warmer climate, the life of the fluid will be shortened. The fluid provided should be more than sufficient for pool operation. If you require additional fluid, it can be obtained from Endless Pools in 1 or 5 gallon containers.
