Organic Valley Blueberry Bliss Smoothie MAKES 4 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 cups Organic Valley Milk 1/2 cup pulp-free Harris Teeter Orange Juice 1 Banana, ripe and sliced into chunks 1 tbsp. Flax Seeds 1 cup frozen Harris Teeter Organics Blueberries

INGREDIENTS: 1 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour 1 cup Harris Teeter Organics Old Fashioned Oats, uncooked 1 tbsp. Harris Teeter Baking Powder 2 tsp. Harris Teeter Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp. Harris Teeter Ground Nutmeg 1/2 tsp. Salt 1 large Organic Valley Egg 3/4 cup Organic Valley Whole Milk (or OV Lactose-free Whole Milk) 1/2 cup Organic Valley European Butter, melted and cooked 1/3 cup Harris Teeter Pure Maple Syrup 1 cut chopped and peeled Apple 1 cup Golden or Dark Raisins Directions: 1. Heat oven to 400º. 2. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a medium bowl; mix well. 3. In a small bowl, beat egg lightly. Stir in milk, butter and syrup. Add to oat mixture, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in apple and raisins. 4. Spoon batter into 12 medium paper-lined or greased muffin cups (cups will be nearly full). Bake 16 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. 5. Cool 5 minutes in pan; transfer to wire cooling rack. Serve warm or at room temperature with additional butter, if desired.

Directions: Whirl milk and juice on high speed of blender. Add whole flax seeds and blend for another 1 - 2 minutes. Feed ripe banana chunks through the top of blender while on “puree” setting. Add blueberries and puree for 2 - 3 minutes. Pour into tall glasses and enjoy!
