Illimunate School-Wide - Throughout the year, teachers chose 3 essential learning standards in both math and language arts for each trimester. - Using Intel-Assess as an avenue to assess these standards, students were formatively assessed weekly

and summatively assessed every 8 weeks.

- Students had 2 opportunities to take the summative assessment if they did not score proficient the first time assessed.

Illuminate School-Wide - Teachers were able to gain insight into how well students would score on CST. - Teachers were able to truly analyze and gain knowledge of their standards

-Students were able to have feedback right away and understand their mistakes. - Students were able to have mulitple opportunities to become a master of their grade level standards while gaining a sense of accomplishment.

Illuminate School-Wide - Illuminate provides instant feedback for students. - Illuminate is able to upload outside assessments. - Illuminate provides opportunity for the whole school to see strengths and weaknessess.

Using Data to Prompt Discussion With teachers... ● give a common assessment ● review data per question, per standard, or per question groups ● use Protocol for assessing data ● create an action plan

With students... ● show how the students did as a whole on questions on LCD projector ● print student standard report and have mini conferences ● to show growth and mastery = motivation
