Are you new here? Thanks for joining us for our church gathering! Here are a few hints to help you through the morning...

We take our coffee seriously. That’s why we’ve got ethically sourced and fairly traded coffee available. Help yourself to it at any time. Our treat.

What’s happening? Family Ties. Coffee & Connection Time is what we call the 10-minute break during our gathering. We do this so adults can refill their coffee and kids can get to their classrooms. Our nursery is available at any time during the gathering for babies 24 months and younger.

Kids at the Ridge is the name of our program for chldren who are age 2 to grade 5. Learn about the details at the Kids at the Ridge check-in table.

Women’s Mojo Group 2012 Gift Guide Totals Our 2012 Gift Guide donations totalled $4,143! Thanks JRCC for your generosity and for partnering with missionaries locally and globally!

Watch a Movie, Help a Family! Want someone to pray with you? We’ll have people who can pray with you available at the end of our gathering. You can tell them as much or as little as you’d like. They won’t be nosy and they’ll keep it to themselves.

“We aspire to be a loving and listening people, extending God’s hope and reconciliation to our community in all of life, all of the time” We’d love for you to fill out a Welcome Card at the Welcome Centre. This will help us respond to any questions you might have. Don’t worry, we won’t bother you with annoying phone calls or spam mail. Promise. You might also want to visit our website (jerichoridge.com), become a fan of our facebook page, or follow us on Twitter (@jerichoridge). Thanks for coming! We hope to see you again soon.

Our Guatemala team will be hosting a family movie fundraiser at the Clova Cinema on Sunday, Jan 27 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets for the G-rated film are available today for a minimum donation of $5. Make sure to invite your friends!

Service Areas We’re so thankful to announce that we are fully staffed with teachers for Kids at the Ridge! Thanks to everyone who has stepped up to serve and teach our young people. Due to a few transitions, we are currently looking to add volunteers to join our nursery, Welcome Centre, and media teams. You can pick up a position profile for each of these service opportunities at the Welcome Centre.

Finally… a Place to Ask Life’s Big Questions Explore some of life’s biggest questions at the winter session of Alpha. The course is held weekly on Wednesday nights beginning on January 23 and you’ll have the chance to ask questions and search for answers in a relaxed and friendly environment. No question is too simple, too tough, or too out there. Every evening includes a meal, video-based teaching, and a small group discussion. The course is free and you can register online.

Grab your Bible, journal, and favourite pen and meet other ladies at the Jericho Ridge Starbucks (200th St & 72nd Ave) every Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. You don’t even have to do your hair or makeup… it’s a judgmentfree place! If you have any questions, please contact Meg Sumner ([email protected]).
