Coffee & Connection Time is what we call the ten-minute break during our gathering. This gives adults a chance to refill their coffee while kids get to their classrooms.
Kids @ the Ridge is our nursery to Grade 4 program where kids learn about God, hear from God and respond to God. Classes start when children are dismissed from the main gathering at Coffee & Connection Time. To find out more or to register your child, please visit the check-in table at the Welcome Centre. Want someone to pray with you? We’ll have people who can pray with you available at the end of our gathering. You can tell them as much or as little as you’d like. They won’t be nosy and they’ll keep it to themselves.
We’d love for you to fill out a Welcome Card at the Welcome Centre. This will help us respond to any questions you might have. We won’t bother you with unwanted phone calls or spam mail. We promise. Parenting Seminar: Raising Kids in a Digital Age
You're Invited to Pre-Gathering Prayer
7 Days of Prayer with Jesus - Small Groups
Next Sunday, Feb 5, we will spend our morning in the Banquet Hall around round tables discussing together what it looks like to live as followers of Jesus in a digital world. The intergenerational conversation will be facilitated by Dave & Melissa McVety of Doing Family Right so please bring your device(s) to Jericho next weekend!
On Sun, Feb 5, we will be hosting David & Melissa McVety of Doing Family Right for an evening parenting seminar. This practical & invitational event will run from 6:30-8 p.m. at the JRCC Office and will equip you to navigate topics like how to protect your kids online and how to think through an age-appropriate approach to screen time. There is no cost for the seminar but you do need to register online at jerichoridge.com to reserve your spot.
Want to grow in prayer? JRCC has a weekly prayer time on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:15 a.m. This is an ideal time to prepare your heart for worship and to learn how to pray by listening to others in a supportive environment. Join us in the Media Lounge (north of the Banquet Hall beside the family washroom).
Do you want to follow Jesus' lead into a simple and purpose-filled pattern of prayer? 7 Days of Prayer with Jesus is a small group experience that will help you achieve vital and effective prayer. To join a 7week small group starting this week, please fill in the insert and hand it in with the offering or at the Welcome Centre.
Commissioning Prayer
Last year, we took everyone from Jericho off-site to our local partner, Wagner Hills Women's Campus, for a Sunday morning of worship, service and a potluck lunch. Mark Feb 25 date on your calendars as we'll be down there again from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. More info to come soon!
This week, two of our families (Nickels and Tatums) leave for Mexico. They will be visiting Jodi & Darryl Bueckert and John & Lorraine Bueckert who are both there for several months this winter serving at the Vineyard Church in Mazatlan. The Stevensons are going down later this winter (they are at MisisonsFest this weekend).

Bake Sale for Guatemala – Feb 12
JRCC is sending a team of 8 people to Guatemala this March 11-19. They will be distributing wheelchairs to the physically challenged, building two small homes, and distributing food, clothing, and supplies to needy families. On Sunday, Feb 12, the team will be hosting a good old-fashioned bake sale, silent auction style! If you would like to supply some baking for the sale, please contact Tammy Smethurst (

Kids and Teens Nursery Help Wanted
We are looking for one more volunteer to join our regular rotation helping out with our youngest kids in our nursery. If you think that you might be interested in this role please contact Margit (
[email protected]) for more information. We are also looking for 1 or 2 people to serve in the nursery on Sunday, Feb 26 when we are meeting off-site for Jericho Serves at Wagner Hills. We would love for parents to have the option of leaving their little ones well cared for while having their older children work alongside them with their task for the day. Please let Margit know if you can help out!

Proximity is on again this Thursday, Feb 2 and we are digging deeper. If you are in grades 7-12 meet up with others at Mountainview Alliance (7640 200 St) from 7-9 p.m. where there will be games and lots of discussion around who Jesus is. Get ready for an amazing night. Contact Mike (
