Are you new here? Thanks for joining us for our church gathering! Here are a few hints to help you through the morning...

We take our coffee seriously. That’s why we’ve got ethically sourced and fairly traded coffee available. Help yourself to it at any time. Our treat.

Coffee & Connection Time is what we call the 10-minute break during our gathering. We do this so adults can refill their coffee and kids can get to their classrooms. Our nursery is available at any time during the gathering for babies 24 months and younger.

Sunday Cinema is our summer program for children age 2 - those going into Grade 2. Learn more and check your children in at the Kids at the Ridge table.   Want someone to pray with you? We’ll have people who can pray with you available at the end of our gathering. You can tell them as much or as little as you’d like. They won’t be nosy and they’ll keep it to themselves.

“We aspire to be a loving and listening people, extending God’s hope and reconciliation to our community in all of life, all of the time” We’d love for you to fill out a Welcome Card at the Welcome Centre. This will help us respond to any questions you might have. Don’t worry, we won’t bother you with annoying phone calls or spam mail. Promise. You might also want to visit our website (jerichoridge.com), become a fan of our facebook page, or follow us on Twitter (@jerichoridge). Thanks for coming! We hope to see you again soon.

Summer Sundays are Family Inclusive

Summer Day Camp – Heavy Lifting Needed Early Fri Morning

Summer Sundays at JRCC are what we call Family Inclusive.  This means the gatherings are highly interactive and geared for all-ages because kids going into Gr 3 and up stay with us for the main teaching time. Last weekend, we began our summer series entitled Crossing Over which continues through Sept 1.  We'll be blasting through the Old Testament books of Numbers and Joshua which have some pretty crazy stories.  You never know what's going to happen next - either to the Israelites or to you!

Sixty-five campers are confirmed for Summer Camp this Tuesday to Friday!  Please be praying for our team as they prepare to communicate God’s love to the kids and their parents this week. Pray too that lives will be transformed as we witness God in action!  We are also looking for some people to help put up the set again from 7-8 AM on Friday morning due to an event in the Banquet Hall Thurs night. Contact Mike Olynyk if you are an early riser.

Laval 2013  This summer, JRCC is sending a short term mission team to Laval, Quebec.  Today you'll hear about the church we are partnering with and how you can give toward some of the project goals.  See the insert for more details or speak with the team leaders, Spencer and Ali Lafleur.

Tanzania 2013  Thanks to all who have donated towards trip costs and to those who have brought in sunscreen, long-sleeved clothes and wide-brimmed hats to the Welcome Centre.  Please pray for the 7 people from Jericho who are part of the group of 21 heading to East Africa to lead a summer camp for kids with albinism July 21-Aug 5.

Katelyn Prentiss Jeff & Diana Prentiss are excited to announce the arrival of Katelyn Marie Prentiss born June 26 weighing 7lbs 15 ounces.  Everyone is at home and doing well.

Camp Sunday & BBQ Next Weekend  We started a tradition last year of bringing some of the fun and excitement of summer day camp into our Sunday morning gathering the weekend following.  Look for amazing songs, high-energy skits and a camp-themed message from Pastor Brad.  Everyone is invited to stick around following the gathering on July 7 for a complimentary lunch served up by JRCC's stellar hospitality team.

Men's Fireside Feast Join us in Fort Langley at Daniel Wintschel's house for an evening of food, fire and fellowship. When: July 13th, 7pm-11pm (drop-in) Where: 8948 Hadden Street, Fort Langley What to bring: Bring your own meat to BBQ or roast over the fire, and a folding camping chair wouldn't hurt, either.
