Are you new here? Thanks for joining us for our church gathering! Here are a few hints to help you through the morning... We take our coffee seriously. That’s why we’ve got ethically sourced and fairly traded coffee available. Help yourself to it at any time. Our treat.

Coffee & Connection Time is what we call the ten-minute break during our gathering. This gives adults a chance to refill their coffee while kids get to their classrooms.

Family Ties.

E.P.I.C. Sunday - Feb 11: Kairos Blanket Exercise  West Gym – TODAY

Kids @ the Ridge is our nursery to Grade 4 program where kids learn about God, hear from God and respond to God. Classes start when children are dismissed from the main gathering at Coffee & Connection Time. To find out more or to register your child, please visit the check-in table at the Welcome Centre. Want someone to pray with you? We’ll have people who can pray with you available at the end of our gathering. You can tell them as much or as little as you’d like. They won’t be nosy and they’ll keep it to themselves.

We'd love for you to take 30 seconds and fill out a Connection Card online at jerichoridge.com/connect. This will help us respond to any questions you might have. We won't bother you with unwanted phone calls or e-mails. We promise. You might also want to visit our website, jerichoridge.com,  like our Facebook page facebook.com/jerichoridge, follow us on Twitter @jerichoridge or download our app from the iTunes or Google Play stores. Thanks for joining us! We hope to see you again soon.

Cultivating disciples of Jesus who embody God’s love everywhere we go.

What’s happening?

Due to another event that is happening at the LEC, we are meeting in the West Gym today. K@TR classes will still take place on the fourth floor as usual. Parents, please escort your children to their classes by heading through the skate lobby to the elevator, take the elevator up to the fourth floor and follow the signs down the hallway to the classrooms.

Summer Camps

Many summer camps open registration in January. Our denominational family has five camps here in BC that host over 5,600 campers each summer. For details or information on our MB camps, check out campsbc.com or talk to one of our staff team. There are also other great local camp options outside of our five MB camps, such as Camp Kawkawa and Camp Squeah. Camps often fill up quickly so be sure to invite a friend and register soon!

2017 Tax Receipts

Thank you to those who gave generously to the ministry of JRCC in 2017. Tax receipts will be available at the Welcome Centre this week and next week. Receipts not picked up by next weekend will be mailed.

Our Core Values - Transformational Truth | Authentic Community Glocal Service | Generous Lifestyle | Holistic Worship

On the Family Day long weekend, Jericho is excited to bring in an interactive teaching tool to share the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. You won't want to miss this powerful presentation!

Bake Sale for Guatemala – Feb 11

JRCC is sending a team of 13 people to Guatemala this March 17-25. They will be distributing wheelchairs to the physically challenged, building two small homes, and distributing food, clothing, and supplies to families in need. On Sunday, Feb 11, the team will be hosting a good old-fashioned bake sale, silent auction style! If you would like to supply some baking for the sale, please contact Tammy Smethurst ([email protected]).

Jericho Serves – Sunday, Feb 25

Last year, we took everyone from Jericho off-site to our local partner, Wagner Hills Women's Campus, for a Sunday morning of worship, service and a potluck lunch.  Mark Feb 25 on your calendars as we'll be down there again from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  More info to come soon!

March 4 - An Afternoon Gathering

The Giants have an early afternoon hockey game on this date so we are heading off-site for a "test drive" at our fall 2018 location. Gathering time will be 4 p.m. More details to come.
