FASP

The FASP is suitable for controlling the speed of fans or motors providing that the electrical load is not less than 40 watt or more than 250 watt. The FASP has push-on, push-off, 1 or 2 way switching with rotary speed control. This enables the fan to be switched on and off at the selected speed, either at the control or by another two way switch or intermediate switches. 1.

Read these notes before commencing work.

In case of doubt consult a qualified electrical contractor.

Make sure power is switched off from the circuits you are working on by removing appropriate fuses, or switching off appropriate isolating switches.

4.

Remove the existing switch from the wall box and transfer the sets of wires to the appropriate terminals of the FASP, and replace on the wall box. Wall box depth 16mm.

The circuit diagram is as below:-

The knob controls the speed of the connected fan, with the minimum speed being when the knob is fully anti-clockwise.

The minimum load is 40W. The maximum load is 250W.
