Post a Job Opening to the Chamber Website

For You, Our Members

Your New Year’s Resolution: Shop Local

L

ooking to add to your team? Post a job opening on the Chamber website! It’s as easy as logging into the member center on www. hilliardchamber.org, click on the job openings link on the dashboard, click on Add job posting button, enter the information and click on submit for approval.

O

ur community focused “Buy Local” initiative is here to help YOU encourage your consumers to shop local in the New Year. Instead of the traditional resolutions, promote shopping local this upcoming year! At the most basic level, buying local ensures that more money is staying in our community. Remember, for every $100 spent at a locally-owned store, $45 remains in the local economy. Now more than ever we recognize that when consumers buy local, they’re keeping their communities unique and thriving, and assisting in the creation and retention of local jobs.

ADD YOUR

EVENT

As with any New Year’s resolution, there’s no better time to start than now! The first step is simple: create themed promotions on Save Local Now; these promotions can be centered around the holiday. “Let us help you SAVE in the New Year” and “Let’s make this year your healthiest yet” are just a few promotional ideas. Remember – you are promoting your business! Offering deals and discounts is icing on the cake, not a necessity.

Quickly add your events to the HACC event calendar online by selecting the event calendar in the events drop-down menu and click on Submit New Event!

Save Local Now is all about the small business owner. Have questions about the platform or digital marketing in general? No problem! Send an email to marketing@ savelocalnow.com and they’d be happy to lend a helping hand.
