April 7 Information Night for our Trip to Barcelona, Spain!

ur next trip we will be traveling to Spain featuring Barcelona from November 1-9, 2016. Join us at an information night to learn more about this trip on Thursday, April 7th at Heritage Golf Club, 3625 Heritage Club Drive in Hilliard from 6pm to 7pm. It is preferred you register for the information night on our website, www.hilliardchamber.org, to ensure we have enough materials prepared for this event. If you find you have time to attend at the last minute, please come! You do not have to attend the information night in order to register for this trip. Come for a Taste of Bourbon Country in May!

e are excited to share this opportunity with Heritage Golf Club to go to Louisville, KY on May 12 and 13 and visit 6 distilleries! There will also be a trip to Churchill Downs. You arrive on your own to Louisville and then you are shuttled in comfort to the distilleries from the hotel. The cost per person for the tour is $492 and the hotel is separate. Taste of Hilliard & Business Expo for 2016 Sponsors Needed
T
he 7th Annual Taste of Hilliard & Business Expo will be on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Last year we had 30 restaurants and 50 businesses participate. Those that had a booth were extremely pleased with the turnout and felt that it was one of the best events that they had done in the community! We sold out of booth spaces quickly and anticipate doing so again this year. Over 1200 people came through the doors to taste the food and see what businesses had to offer.
We will be at the Makoy Center again from 4:30-7:30 pm on August 3. Look for more information to participate, however if you wish to be a sponsor at the Platinum or Gold level you can get your booth now! Your booth fee of $125 is included in the Platinum and Gold level sponsorships. There are other sponsorship levels in addition to these two. Sign up to be a sponsor on our website or go to the sponsorship form at the end of the newsletter where you can print it and fax it to the chamber. Contact Libby at the chamber for more information!

Tee It Up and Participate in the Golf Outing!
Member Bits Carole J. Kelley, DDS has been once again named one of the Top Dentists in central Ohio by Columbus Monthly magazine. Ahlum & Arbor’s Jon Doenges has earned the Tree Care Industry Association’s (TICA) Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) designation. This is the only safety credentialing program in the arboriculture industry.
The Chamber’s Annual Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 13 at Heritage Golf Club. We are looking for businesses who wish to sponsor holes, putting contest, predict your distance and other fun specials that day. Look for the information on our website or call the chamber for more details.
Ahlum & Arbor’s Eric Finley has earned the Board Certified Master Arborist (BCMA) designation through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). The BCMA credential is the highest level of certification offered by ISA and fewer than 2% of certified arborists have earned the BCMA designation.
