tart 2018 off right by learning about Crisis Communication in a 24/7 World. In today’s world where news (and misinformation) travels at the speed of Twitter, what should businesses of all sizes know about crisis preparation and response? Come and hear from Hinda Mitchell, President of Inspire PR Group, on Friday, January 19th at 11:30am at Heritage Golf Club. Hinda brings to Inspire more than 25 years of experience in agency, corporate and media work. Hinda provides ongoing communications counsel to national corporations, state and national trade associations, advocacy groups, restaurants, education organizations, non-profit groups and companies of all sizes.

The Art of Negotiation Luncheon

J

oin us at the Reception House at Raymond Memorial by Schmidt’s for the Hilliard Women in Business Luncheon on Wednesday, January 17th from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Back by popular demand, attorney Bea Wolper will present The Art of Negotiation, loosely based on Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War.” Why? Because women are far less likely than men to negotiate at work, which typically costs women more than half a million dollars in earnings over the course of their respective careers! Come prepared to learn tips and tricks to better - and more confidently - negotiate.

Bea is the President of Emens & Wolper Law where she practices with an emphasis on family-owned business and women business owners; estate planning and wealth transfer; outside general counsel to privately held businesses; oil and gas law and acquisitions. She is listed in “Best Lawyers in America” in the Corporate Law category. Thank you to Credit Union of Ohio for sponsoring this luncheon. Please RSVP via the website or by calling the chamber office at 614.876.7666. We ask for payment at the time you make your reservation. The cost is $18 for members and $21 for potential members and guests.
