HACC September 21 Luncheon Is Your Business Prepared—Not Scared?

B

ob Otter, Founder and CEO of citizenAID will be our guest speaker at our luncheon on Friday, September 21st.  As the President & CEO of citizenAID North America, Bob works with schools and businesses teaching them how to act effectively after serious injury from an accident. They teach what to do in situations involving active shooters, bomb blasts, and vehicle attacks as well as accidents internally at businesses -- actions that save lives. citizenAID was first launched by four deeply experienced civilian and military clinicians working in collaboration with industry to improve public resilience. citizenAID leverages the success of the Combat Lifesaver Program, which was originally created to decrease the percentage of preventable deaths on the battlefield by teaching basic trauma care to battlefield soldiers. citizenAID North America has repurposed this training for consumption by non-military citizens and has created a free mobile application so that this knowledge is accessible to every American, free of charge. citizenAID North America has also created online trainings that expand on the app as well as Public Treatment Kits and wall stations in various sizes for schools, community spaces, offices, and public transportation hubs. We are proud to announce a formal partnership with citizenAID to provide local businesses with citizenAID’s life-saving online training courses and public treatment kits. Employees can learn how to react to various crisis situations and treat wounded people before help arrives. Additionally, citizenAID’s free mobile application is available for download for all employees – and all citizens nationwide. The courses and app were designed by emergency response experts with decades of experience. This luncheon will be on Friday, September 21st at Heritage Golf Club from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Reservations are required and need to be made by September 19th online or by calling the office, 614.876.7666. This event is open to the public. 1
