Installation Instructions →

Part Number: 30GX900023 (30GX080-205, 225, 249, 250, 264, 265; 30GXN,R080-205, 225, 249, 250, 264, 265 and associated modular sizes 30GX900035 (30GX281-350, 30GXN,R208, 228, 253, 268-350 and associated modular sizes) SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS Installing, starting up, and servicing air-conditioning equipment can be hazardous due to system pressures, electrical components, and equipment location. Only trained, qualified installers and service mechanics should install, start up, and service this equipment. When working on the equipment, observe precautions in the literature and on tags, stickers, and labels attached to the equipment. Follow all safety codes. Wear safety glasses and work gloves.

GENERAL The vibration isolation accessory kits consist of 10 each 24-in. x 3-in. x 1/4-in. resilient neoprene pads (Fig. 1) for use with the 30GX,GXN,GXR080-205, 225, 249, 250, 264, 265, or 14 each of the same pads for use with the 30GX,GXN,GXR208, 228, 253, 268-350 units. See Table 1 for modular size combinations. The pads are oil-resistant and have a cross-ribbed design with ribs of alternating heights. One pad should be mounted under each mounting location.

PREINSTALLATION Remove accessory from packaging and inspect shipment for damage. File claim with shipping company if accessory is damaged or incomplete.

INSTALLATION Install the accessory kit as follows: 1. The accessory kit is usually installed at the initial unit installation. If the kit is to be installed after the unit is already in place, disconnect all power to the unit first.

To avoid possible electrical shock and personal injury, all power to unit must be disconnected before working on unit. Tag all disconnects to alert others unit is being worked on. 2. Rig unit per base unit installation instructions and raise unit above its final installation location. 3. Insert one pad under each base rail mounting location. See Fig. 2 and 3. Extra pads may be placed at other locations if desired. 4. Lower unit in place. Note that unit must be leveled according to base unit installation instructions. 5. If base rail is to be bolted in place, insert bolts through unit feet and pad material. If nuts are used on mounting

bolts, tighten nuts finger tight. Do not torque nuts, as this reduces the effectiveness of the vibration isolation pads. 6. Restore unit power or continue with initial unit installation. →
