Intelligent System Controller The Avigilon™ Access Control Manager (ACM)™ system supports open field hardware from Mercury Security allowing organizations to leverage investments in non-proprietary field hardware, with retrofit programs available for industry standard door hardware and card readers, including contact/contactless smart card, proximity, magnetic stripe and barcode.
The AC-MER-CONT-64DR is a powerful, intelligent controller solution for managing up to 64 readers with the Access Control Manager (ACM) system from Avigilon. Based on the Mercury Security (EP2500), the ACMER-CONT-64DR communicates with ACM via its on-board Ethernet port. The AC-MER-CONT-64DR includes two downstream RS-485 ports to easily connect input, output and reader modules for up to 32 device addresses. Offering powerful flexibility the AC-MER-CONT-64DR is capable of interfacing with a wide array of reader technologies. The result is the flexibility, versatility and reliability required for demanding access control solutions.
