Trainee/Internship Program Offer (10176) Restaurant Management / Culinary Training – Aspen, CO

Start Date: as soon as possible Hours: 32-40 hours per week Location: Apsen, CO Program duration: 6-12 months Compensation: $12 per hour Housing: not provided, but assisted to find Number of Position Offered: 2 Host Company Description: The restaurant is a part of the well known restaurant management group which has locations in California and New York and caters to upscale clientele. More than 35 years in the business, the group takes prides in presenting exceptional cuisine in the most inspired settings. The guests of the restaurant can expect a welcoming atmosphere with a kitchen display with an interior decorated with various art. The restaurant serves distinctive dishes and premium cocktails. Restaurant Management Trainees will partake in a rotational internship that includes various service areas from guest greeting to serving etiquette as well as management responsibilities including but not limited to staff supervision, accounting, purchasing/ordering, and vendor relations. Culinary Management Trainees will partake in a rotational internship and experience various areas of the kitchen including baking, prep, and line functions as well as management duties including but not limited to ordering, purchasing, inventory, hiring/scheduling, and costing. To apply for the trainee program, you must hold a Restaurant/Hospitality Management degree and have at least 1 year of work experience in a related field OR be a career professional of 5 or more years of experience Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation if applying for culinary training Service standards and guest relations and etiquette, must demonstrate a guest oriented and friendly demeanor EXCELLENT English language communication skills
