Invitation to Bid - Bid # 3116 Product/Service: Aruba Networks Products The Rutherford County Board of Education requests you to bid on this project subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

General Terms and Conditions  

       

The Board reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities. Items of various manufacturers may be bid unless otherwise indicated; however, it is the responsibility of the bidder to satisfy the Boards representative that substituted items are equal to or better than specified items. The Board's representative shall make all determinations regarding equal to or better than. By submission of this bid, the bidder agrees to all terms and conditions stated herein. All bids must be submitted on the attached form and signed by authorized representative of company. All bids are to be sealed and marked with the bid number on the outside of the envelope. Bids can be hand-delivered or mailed. Bids submitted by fax or electronic mail will not be accepted. It is the bidder's responsibility to comply with all local, state and federal laws, regulations, codes and requirements. The bidder must be prepared to substantiate compliance upon request by the Board's representative. The Rutherford County Board of Education reserves the right to award this bid on Quality, Price and Availability of Product(s) specified. All bids could, if the Board of Education chooses, be awarded on a line item basis. The Board further reserves the right to reject all bids and not issue an award. The Board reserves the right to use existing bids and/or contracts on any item(s) and/or service(s) listed in this Invitation To Bidders where it is most advantageous to the Board. It is the intent of the Rutherford County Board of Education to make the products and services requested in this Invitation to Bid available for purchase at awarded bid prices to other qualifying government and educational agencies of the State of Tennessee.

Aruba Networks Products Specifications 1. Bid responses shall follow the same format and numbering as this Invitation to Bid document including the requested items table. Bid responses not following the format and numbering of this Invitation to Bidders document shall be subject to immediate rejection. 2. It is the intent of the Rutherford County Board of Education to obtain contract pricing for Aruba Networks Products, as listed in the following table, for a period of one (1) year from the date of Board approval. The contract pricing for Aruba Networks Products may be extended for additional periods only by mutual agreement, in writing, by the successful bidder and duly authorized representatives of the Rutherford County Board of Education. 3. Bidders must have at least one (1) System Engineer with ACMP/ACCP level certification who has attended the Aruba Networks ClearPass Boot Camp on staff.

Delivery and Warranty Terms Delivery Specifications. 

All items are to be quoted as being delivered inside the building to any school or office site within Rutherford County, Tennessee. Any additional costs not itemized in Bidders official bid response and not reflected in Bidder’s line-item, single-unit total price shall not be incurred by the Rutherford County Board of Education at any time.



The Rutherford County Board of Education reserves the right to purchase items and services in single unit quantities at the bid price. If a part or supply item only comes in package quantities, Bidders must clearly identify those items in their bid submission.



The successful bidder shall deliver all items and services to the specified location(s) on the purchase order (PO) within 15 days of receipt of purchase order (PO).

Warranty Specifications Vendors are to state all individual part and supply manufacturer warranty terms and procedures for pursuing warranty claims within their bid submission. The terms must include but are not limited to the following conditions: 

The Bidder agrees to terminate contract pricing, without penalty, in the event that the duly authorized representatives of the Rutherford County Board of Education determine at any time that the Bidder does not meet the specifications as outlined in this Invitation to Bid.

Should at any time specifications or delivery terms not be met, the Rutherford County Board of Education reserves the right to revoke the bid award and award the bid to the next lowest priced, qualified bidder. Bid Quote and Authorization Bids must be sealed and marked “Bid #3116, due 2:00 P.M., March 17, 2015” and be submitted to the Rutherford County Board of Education, Attn: Lynn Pater, Purchasing Agent, 2240 Southpark Blvd., Murfreesboro, TN 37128 prior to bid deadline. Faxed or E-mailed bids will not be accepted. I have read all bid conditions, terms, and instructions and agree to all therein. I am duly authorized by my organization to submit the following bid.
