SERMON NOTES  Sunday, September 20, 2015 “IS THERE A GOD?” (Psalm 19:1-4) Today we continue in our Explore God series as we take a look at the question, “Is there a God?” People need to know that not only does God exist; He wants us to know He exists. God wants to be known. Today we are going to look at ways that God reveals Himself to us so that we can know Him and have a relationship with Him? Necessary vs Contingent Witnesses to the existence of God: A. The testimony of __________________. Psalm 19:1-4 (NIV) Romans 1:20 (NIV) B. The testimony of __________________. Romans 2:13-15 (NIV) Genesis 1:27 (NLT) C. The testimony of __________________. Hebrews 1:1-3 (ESV) Acts 17:30-31 (NLT) John 1:14 (NIV) “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11, NIV).
