short-term mission teams are hitting the road TSA approved incidentals and locks; Bible, journal, passport and clothes, so much to pack, so much to prepare for as we have three teams gearing up to leave Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our first short-term team will have already left as you read this note. Please pray for the ladies as they work at the Women and Children’s Center and the refugee camp on the island of Lesvos, Greece. Pray for their eyes to be opened and their hearts to be touched with love for all the people whom God puts in their pathway, both the local Greeks and the refugee women and children. The Spring Tanzania Team will be the next to leave on May 15. This team would like your prayers for the teachings they will doing. All the cloth that Calvary has donated and helped sew will be packed-up in a huge suitcase to travel to Mwanza, Tanzania (pray all their luggage arrives safely). Keep their health and team spirit in your prayers as they have some busy days ahead of them. Chinhingane, Mozambique is our last team to leave in May; they leave within one day of the Tanzania Team on May 16. Lucky and Sonnet, our Calvary Supported Global Workers will be there as we partner with them presenting Bible stories using Simply the Story oral Bible teaching method. The kiddos and adults we are creating relationships with look forward to when our teams arrive just as much as our team is looking forward to serving them! Keep our team in your prayers as they prepare to leave and be the hands and feet of Jesus and to encourage the Mnisi’s. Pray for Christ’s amazing love to be spread around the world by our very own short-term mission teams. Follow along with their travels, as their internet service allows, at calvarygr.org/stmblog. Thank you for your prayer and financial support!

In the end they make a discovery about the importance of the Cross and the message of the Gospel.
