Love 101: Who Needs This Series?

Love 101 Key Verse “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” I John 3:18 (NKJV)

Love Myths  No such thing as love at first sight…  Love is the same as happiness…  There is only one person in the whole

world just for you…  If the physical aspect of love is right, the rest will take care of itself…  If you obey I John 3:18, you do not have to tell someone you love them.

Love Facts  We were created to love and be loved…  Marriage will not help you love another

person…  Love is often painful and requires more giving than taking…  Love is not passive…it is active and demanding…  God’s love is the greatest love you will ever know…

God’s Love: What You Need To Know  It is a Healing Love  It is a Chastening

Love  It is an Unconditional Love  It is a Redeeming Love

How Do We Define Unconditional Love? It is love with “No Strings Attached” It is love for a person in “As-is Condition”

God’s Unconditional Love For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. Romans 5:6-7 (NKJV)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8-9 (NKJV)

 A sinner is one who is separated from God;

 A sinner is one who is incapable and unwilling to

love God;  All mankind has sinned and failed to please God (Romans 3:23);  God chooses to love the sinner;  God demonstrates His love by giving that which is most precious to Him…Jesus Christ;  God provides forgiveness and mercy to the sinner through Jesus Christ.

No one can love you like Christ…Give Him your life today.
