Message from Management While the Industry Changes So Quickly, J-Devices Will Keep and Improve Customer Satisfaction. J-Devices started our business in 1970 and has continuously provided our customers with semiconductor back-end manufacturing services. Since the start, J-Devices has been faced with a lot of environmental changes such as a structural change of global economy, substantial progress of the electronics industry and dramatic changes of the semiconductor industry structure. Despite such a lot of environmental changes, we have been successfully growing up from the first small factory in Oita prefecture to Japanese largest OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) which has factories throughout Japan. This success is thanks to all the support from of course the customers, vendors, governments, people in related local area and other related people. J-Devices would like to take this opportunity to express sincere gratitude to related people once again. Our strength in the semiconductor industry is high technical capabilities which are acquired by specializing in semiconductor back-end manufacturing. Approach of Green Procurement J-Devices structures environmental management system globally. We accept basic responsibility about our production activities that have first priority of global environmental protection. We are promoting "Green Procurement" as one of our approach. "Green Procurement" is to purchase products, parts and materials etc. that are small environmental load from suppliers which are promoting environmental protection positively to proceed our business activities creating environment-conscious products and making consideration to reduce environmental load and risk of hazardous substances etc. We set up prohibited and controlled substances that we use for our products, parts and materials of them. We are attempting to select materials that are non-use prohibited substances and smaller environmental load about substances that are contained in our products or used in manufacturing processes of our factories with evaluation of environmental impact before development and designing steps.

BCM (Business Continuity Management) We have developed and been implementing a Business Continuity Management (BCM) to keep up and improve the supply chain to link customers in the event of any production disturbance by large-scale natural disaster, accidents such as fire or explosion, illness spread such as pandemic or infective disease, terrorism and any political change. We make continuous improvement for risk reductions together with our suppliers.

Quality Control Policy In order to become a world leading company as for back-end process of semiconductor manufacturing, J-Devices will continue striving for the following with "high value technology on assembly and testing", "competitive international costs" and "worldwide top-class quality". 1. We recognize as our corporate responsibility that we provide safety, high-quality and lowcost products with taking the needs of customers in advance. And with delivering the world highest level service in back-end process to our customers, we will strive to contribute to society. 2. We establish a quality policy and quality target, and all the processes that are involved in the business perform activity based on a quality management system to achieve them. And we evaluate the achievement level, the conformance and the effectiveness, we will work on quality improvement continuously. (2) Strengthening Chemical Management: Selecting materials that have a low impact on the environment. Preparations and strengthening management for emergency. (3) Saving resources/Recycling: Separation of waste materials and careful management, proactive reuse, reduce, recycle activities. (4) CSR activities: Working with the local community and the environment. 4. Safety and Health Control Policy J-Devices recognizes that occupational safety and health (OSH) is one of the most important issues for all employees. We will strive to promote OSH activities. As a global competitive company in the semiconductor backend business, we formulate the following specific policies. 1. We position safety and health as the most important issues, and prevent occupational injury and disease in the workplace and achieve continual improvement in OSH activities. 2. We comply with the relevant laws and the regulatory requirements. 3.
