Beginning Ballet

Young dancers  will begin foundational ballet and jazz steps with stories, props and fun games to help reinforce each new concept.

Ballet, tap and jazz  are introduced, along with the vocabulary to go along with each new step.  Dancers will begin to identify their favorite dance styles in this lively combo.

Introducing a Mini-competition team for our youngest dancers! This team will train for and attend one local competition in the spring. Additional comp fees will be charged in November (TBD but approximately $75).  Costume is included!

One additional class required (ballet is recommended but any class is acceptable!)   Age range as of September 1st for this group is 5-6.  (Students who will be 7 by Sept. 1st are invited to audition for our Junior Competition Team!)

 Singing, dancing and acting, all in one! Twice a year we put on a large auditorium production at North Central College.  Past shows have included Wizard of Oz, Finding Nemo  and Jungle Book.  Tuition for theatre is $349 per semester, which does not include a minimal  parent volunteer requirement (or buy out, at your option)..  More info is available in our front office. Student Leadership

ages 8 -18

We  believe in teaching more than just great dancing!  Students age 8 and up are invited to join our Allegro Ambassadors group. Commitment is once per month for 2-3 hours; students will plan and execute community projects in partnership with the DreamBig Performing Arts Foundation, as well as plan studiowide events to foster fun and friendship across disciplines.  Applications are available at the front desk.
