Sunday Morning Bible Class | Starts January 8 | Sundays | 10:45am | Room 22 “The Manger and the Aftermath.” As we continue to look at the life of Jesus we will will pause on Sunday mornings to take a deeper look into the familiar story. Why wasn’t there a place for Jesus when they should have been a place with their relatives? What significance do the Wise Men, Herod and Simeon play? Balance Class | Fellowship Hall Mondays at 4:00pm & Thursdays at 11:30am Safe & light exercises for adults 60 and over. Girl’s Night Out at Cosmo’s Bistro | January 10 | Tuesday | 6:30pm C.A.M.E.O (Come and Meet Each Other) is a time for women of all ages and stages to come together to laugh, share and encourage one another. Events are scheduled once per month on various Tuesday evenings. Speakers present practical topics relating to family relationships, parenting, and homemaking from a Biblical perspective. Children 3 years old through 5th grade are encouraged to participate in AWANA Clubs while moms attend Working Moms. Children under age 3 must be pre-registered for childcare. Women’s Retreat | March 10 – 12, 2017 Registration is NOW OPEN! This year, the women of Glenkirk are partnering with the women of Christian Assembly for a getaway in the beautiful California mountains to build their faith and their friendships. $185 per person. This is a great place to meet other parents of young families in our church community. For questions, please contact Kinsey. AWANA Clubs | Resumes January 18 | Wednesdays | 6:30 - 8:00pm Bible-based youth program for children to participate in exciting games, handbook work, and large group lessons. Wednesdays, September – May. Cubbies (ages 3&4) 6:30 - 7:30pm; Sparks (grades K, 1st & 2nd) and Truth & Training (T&T) (grades 3rd, 4th & 5th) 6:30 - 8:00pm. Register at Children’s Welcome Table on Sundays or visit the Church office. $40 per clubber. For questions, please contact Kinsey. Sunday School: Full Children’s Programs | Sundays Engaging children’s programs are available at all Sunday Services (9:00am, 10:45am, 6:00pm). All children’s ministry leaders submit to a background check and complete a leader volunteer application. Nursery Our loving volunteers are ready to care for your little ones while you attend church services or Sunday morning classes. In the event that a parent is needed, the last 3 digits of your child’s check-in number will flash on the Worship Center screen, or the parent’s cell phone will be called.

Elementary Children begin church with their families in the Worship Center and are then invited to Room 9 and Room 15 for an engaging large-group time of music, skits, and multimedia, followed by a relational small-group time where children talk about life application of the lesson.

ENGAGE Sunday Program | Resumes January 8 | Sundays | 9:15 – 10:00am Students in 6th-12th grade are encouraged to worship with the congregation before heading to room 15 for small group Bible study. ENGAGE Mid Week Gathering | Resumes January 18 | Wednesdays | 6:30 – 8:00pm Middle School & High School youth group will meet on Wednesday nights to join in fellowship with other students. High School Winter Retreat | March 17 – 19 High School students are heading out to enjoy a weekend getaway, March 17 – 19. More details to come!

Glenkirk Cares seeks to help the patient, as well as their family while building relationships, sharing the gospel and providing compassionate support.

Lay Counseling Counseling is available when life gets tough or in times of crisis. Lay Counselors are trained and supervised. Premarital counseling is also available. LOC A L & GLOBA L MISSIONS (Bonni Carr) Outreach Supplies Needed If you are looking for a way to help, we are currently supporting four great ministries that could use donations. We are in need of hygiene products for the homeless (a list is available at the Connection Center), books for India, school supplies for Sowing Seeds and food for the Shepherd’s Pantry. We will have carts on the patio for you to drop off donations. For any questions, please contact Paty. Books for India Glenkirk continues to collect used Christian books, Bibles and educational material for Glad Tidings India.
