JANUARY 2018

Dear Church Family... Don’t you love the beginning of a new year? It always presents us with a choice. We can be a “creature of habit”— doing the same, old thing over and over—or, we can seize the opportunity for a new beginning, a clean slate, a fresh start. Craig Christina Senior Pastor

Maybe we’ve fallen out of Connection Group/Sunday School attendance? Perhaps we aren’t serving the Lord? It’s possible that we aren’t checking on our neighbors, writing notes of encouragement, or intentionally praying for the lost people around us. Whatever the situation, we can use the New Year as an opportunity to reignite a passion for loving the Lord and others. The Apostle Paul wrote “that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT). Never sit back and wait for the “new life” to begin. Embrace the fresh opportunity to live the life to which Christ has called us, and He will give you everything you need to live on fire for Him. So what will you do this New Year? It’s not about turning over a new leaf, but following Christ into a new adventure. Love, grow, serve, and share your faith, and we will have a great year through Him. Happy New Year! Pastor Craig
