Scripture Read Ephesians 2:1-3 Ben posed the question: Are you truly living? He gave examples of what we sometimes equate “really living” with. Maybe it’s living in a dream location, having the dream job, or maybe its fancy cars and homes that we equate “really living” with. What does really living mean for you, how would you or have you defined really living?

According to verses 1 and 3, what is it that stops us from really living and why?

Read Ephesians 2:4-5 But God… this is where God steps into our situation and addresses our hopelessness. Why does God step into our situation? What quality of God allows him to address our circumstances? Mercy has been defined to mean second chances. Talk about a time or circumstance in your life when you either gave someone a second chance or received a second chance? How does giving or receiving mercy change our outlook?
