Job Description Position: Assistant Store Manager – Hope’s Closet Thrift Classification: Hourly/Full-Time Reports To: General Manager – Hope’s Closet Thrift Supervises: Hope’s Closet’s Employees and Serve Staff Purpose To help manage and implement processes to obtain inventory and execute sales strategies to drive sales revenue while keeping focus on The Church of Eleven22 vision of being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Education •   Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience •   3-5 years of relevant work experience, must include retail management experience •   Experience managing multiple employees/serve staff Key Responsibilities •   Assist the General Manager and Assistant Store Manager in managing & executing Hope’s Closet’s Store Processes: o   Sales o   Operations, which include opening and closing the store o   Customer Relations o   Merchandising o   Maintain Budget Control •   Drive sales by overseeing the customer service and merchandising of store •   Develop & manage Hope’s Closet employees and serve staff •   24/7 on call Hope’s Closet store contact (shared with Facility Coordinator) •   Ministry Partnership Success Factors •   Model The Church of Eleven22 mission, vision, and core values. •   Demonstrated ability to make Disciples who make Disciples •   Ability to work in fast-paced work environment •   Strong, pro-active communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills •   Ability to generate sales revenue •   Possess strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills
