1. Overview and Objectives of the Position: The Business & Insights Analyst (BIA) role is to support the development and ongoing production of business analytics, reporting and insights globally The role will be responsible for providing key operational and non-financial metrics around all aspects of student recruitment and marketing. The BIA will support the design, development and continuous improvement to the processes and sources associated with data collection. This includes internally and externally sourced data. The role will support the global positioning of internal and external insights.

Key Result Areas: 

Provide performance and management reporting and modeling on student recruitment and marketing activities.



Development and ongoing monitoring of systems and reporting for strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPI).



Develop, maintain and provide reporting templates and tools to support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting; and business planning.



Conduct regular analysis to identify opportunities, process improvements, student recruitment and marketing analytics and trends. Analysis of trends and issues to improve performance and results.



Support the launch and development of internal and external insights.

Develop positive and constructive working relationships to achieve business outcomes.



The role will also provide other analytical/project assistance to the Global Head of Insights as required on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications and Selection Criteria

Essential: 

Business degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related discipline with a strong numerate or analytical component.



At least 2 to 3 years’ experience successfully operating in research or analytics based functions



Demonstrated strong numeracy abilities to interpret data and communicate its meaning effectively.



High proficiency in using Microsoft suite of desktop business applications including using Microsoft Excel for data and analytics purposes, in-depth understanding of Salesforce and knowledge of Tableau software.



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.



Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver to commitments within agreed timeframes, objectives and budget.



Continuous improvement focus.



Demonstrated ability to operate independently, set priorities and manage own time.

Desirable: 

Experience within the education sector
