Enrollment Data Specialist Director of Admissions 8, Non-Exempt

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Enrollment Data Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the Talisma CRM for recruitment, maintaining prospective student data in the student information system (SIS) database, and technical oversight of email campaigns. Duties include creating and managing all files during prospective students’ admissions process and scheduling outgoing communications to prospective students from the Office of Admissions. This position works with the Director of Admissions to ensure seamless data management and customer service regarding applications for admissions and recruitment. EDUCATION/TRAINING: A college degree as well as experience at a higher education institution is preferred. A high level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, is required. The ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form, as well as proofread outgoing communication (spelling, style and grammar) is required. In addition, a basic knowledge of office protocol, administrative procedures, interpersonal skills, and the ability and commitment to discern and maintain confidentiality as needed is required. Knowledge of CampusVue student information system and Talisma CRM is a plus. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: 1. Manage online and paper applications and process prospective student applications, including the communication of application requirements to prospective students on the WuFoo forms and the Denver Seminary website. 2. Serve as primary administrator for Talisma CRM, including developing email campaign templates and workflows, managing user permissions, maintaining and editing communications for all states of the application process (Inquired, Applied, Accepted, Registered) in Talisma and CampusVue utilizing mail merge fields, collaborating with Information Technology to configure, edit and create rules and properties. 3. Maintain and edit (as needed) various admissions documents necessary to facilitate the acknowledgement, offer and refusal processes for the Admissions Office.

4. Maintain and edit (as needed) social media accounts associated with the Office of Admissions and Denver Seminary. 5. Coordinate aspects of internal data management for the Office of Admissions including SIS reporting, evaluation of Admission operations, file matriculation, updating enrollment statuses and student groups, submission of support tickets to Campus Management ServiceDesk, and other needed changes/updates to the Admissions process as necessary. 5. Serve as co-supervisor for Admissions work-studies. 6. Update procedure manual as required by Director of Admissions and/or Vice President of Student Life and Enrollment Management. 7. Other duties as assigned. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires sitting, standing and walking for extensive periods of time and frequent bending, stooping or stretching. Work is performed in an office environment and requires working at a computer for extensive periods of time; eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, the ability to distinguish letters and symbols, corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Requires speaking and writing proficiently in the English language. Requires working under occasional stressful conditions. Requires the use of office equipment such as computers, printers, telephones, copiers, adding machines, fax machines. High contact with members of the seminary community and external public. Work is generally fast-paced and challenging. QUALIFICATIONS: Personal commitment to Christ and service to others. Able to relate well to diverse audiences.
