Enrollment Recruitment Advisor, West Texas Extension Site Site Director / VP of Student Life Enrollment Mangament

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The enrollment recruitment advisor functions as an active recruiter, promoter, lead generater and representative of the West Texas Extension of Denver Seminary; traveling extensively, including evenings and weekends. The enrollment recruitment advisor acts as a point of contact for prospective students, from initial inquiry through matriculation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with prospective students and key community influencers in various areas: church, para-church, ministry, higher learning. 2. Promote recruiting events taking place at the West Texas campus. 3. Assist Site Director in implementation of on- and off-campus recruiting events. 4. Facilitate connections between prospective students and Site Director. 5. Make professional and persuasive presentations to prospective applicants in various venues regarding degree options at the West Texas extension. 6. Maintain regular contact with prospective students through email, publications, telephone and in-person interactions. 7. Identify and strengthen potential recruiting outlets. 8. Accurately enter contacts into the Talisma CRM & CampusVue database. 9. Provide initial contact with prospective students, communicating the strengths of the programs at Denver Seminary West Texas. 10. Travel on recruitment trips as assigned. 11. Other duties as assigned by the Site Director, Director of Admissions, or VicePresident of Student Life and Enrollment Management. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree required. Three years of related experience and a general record of professional success. Experience with student enrollment or customer service software, marketing and sales. Commitment to discern and maintain confidentiality. Able to communicate effectively in both written and oral form. Excellent public speaking skills. Ability to give careful attention to detail. Computer competent, knowledge of Microsoft Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the intricacies of theological education, degree program requirements, competencies and training required for various ministries, federal/state policies and regulations related to student enrollment. Effective and timely performance of assigned tasks. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Prolonged sitting, frequent bending, stooping, twisting, stretching and climbing of stairs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges essential. Requires working at a computer, sometimes for extensive periods of time. Applicant must possess the ability to distinguish letters and symbols. Requires speaking and writing proficiently in the English language. Requires the use of office equipment including computers, printers, phones, fax machines, copiers and calculators. Applicant must be able to handle interruptions and more than one task at a time. Must be able to meet new people on a regular basis. Must be able to learn quickly, be a self-starter and pay attention to details.
