JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Ministries Director Reports to: Executive Ministries Pastor Supervises: Ministries Leadership Team, Executive Ministries Admin Purpose Support the Executive Ministries Pastor in executing the vision and mission of The Church of Eleven22 by building and developing teams, plans, and infrastructure in multiple ministry areas responsible for creating environments for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in organizational leadership, administration, or similar area preferred. • 7-10 years of organizational experience leading individuals and team including performance management, strategic planning and implementation, budget management, and people development. • 3-5 years of working, serving, or leading in ministry roles. Required Competencies and Skills • Ability to collaborate, build effective inter-personal relationships, and lead high-level teams • Ability to manage competing organizational priorities, work within a rapidly changing environment, and maintain attention to detail • Proven strategic-planning, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills Key Responsibilities • Lead and Facilitate the Ministries Leadership Team (Worship Gatherings, Multi-Site, Multiplication, Discipleship, and Family Ministries) to execute the overall Eleven22 ministry vision, direction, and strategy as set by the Executive Leadership Team. o Ensure communication, collaboration, and teamwork within and between ministry areas; creating synergy to meet overall Eleven22 ministry goals. o Ensure healthy campus and central team functions & relationships including the central development of Gospel-driven, effective ministry tools for all campuses. o Oversee annual Ministry Area budgeting processes and monitor monthly budget reviews with Ministry Leaders. o Oversee annual Ministry Action Plans (MAPS) development, implementation, accountability, and effectiveness; ensuring MAPS support the overall church vision and annual mission and promote unity and collaboration amongst ministries o Oversee Mission & Morale (M&M) development and accountability by all ministries • Collaborate with other ministry areas (Operations, Finance, and HR) to develop and implement helpful rhythms, tools, and processes to continuously evaluate and improve the overall ministry of the church. • Lead, manage, and develop the Executive Ministries Admin to effectively support the Executive Ministries Pastor and his office.
