John 13:12-17

John 13:14-17 14 If

I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

John 8:31; 15:8, 15, 35

You truly are my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings, if you love one another, if you bear fruit. You truly are my disciples if you live as I tell you to. paraphrased

Luke 6:35 NIV

Even be kind to your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Luke 8:28 NKJV

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!"

Daniel 3:26

Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here." Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

“The problem with too many Christians is they think God called them to be manufacturers when He really called them to be distributors.”

Acts 3:6

“Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have I give unto thee”

“Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

5 Then

Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?" 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. 7 Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little."

John 6:5-7 (NKJV)

The key is to bring whatever you have and lay it at the feet of Jesus and seek His help, His direction!

Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

I am my Lord’s distributor not His manufacture!

If you’ll accept your role as a distributor of God’s grace.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Do I confess daily before God my need for His forgiveness, His grace and yes, His help in my daily life?

6 So

he, trembling and astonished, said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?" Then the Lord said to him, "Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."

“the heart of every problem is the problem in the heart”.

If all God wanted to do was to get the work done, He could send His angels, and they would do it far better and faster. But He not only wants to do something through us, He also wants to do something in us!
