Your fulfillment of this assignment, how well you do on this mission that Jesus gives to you, will affect your eternal future and your spiritual perception and power in the present.

Your discernment of God’s will increases when you are obedient and are carrying out your God given assignment. You experience His power when you are on mission, sharing the gospel.

1. Being on Mission with Jesus looks like spending time in PRAYER. Acts 1:14 (NKJV)

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

2. Being on mission with Jesus means going and sharing the Good News of Salvation Acts 2:14 (NKJV) 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.

He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

3. Being on Mission with Jesus means Sharing the Cost of Doing His Business. Acts 2:45-46 (NKJV) 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

“For the Lord gave us this command when he said, ‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’” (Acts 13:47 NLT)
