1 RESURRECTION SUNDAY, APRIL 21, 2019 “COME, LORD JESUS” This is the heart of Your children singing, “Come, Lord Jesus, come, Lord Jesus.” This is the anthem of church bells ringing, “Come, Lord Jesus, come, Lord Jesus.” This is the groan of creation rising. This is the thunder of hope igniting. This is the roar of the saints inviting their King. Hear Your people shout, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Hear Your church cry out, “Come, Lord Jesus.” This is the hope we’re holding onto. This is our song; we’re waiting for You. Come, come and take us home. Come, Lord Jesus, come. This is the prayer of the Bride in waiting, “Come, Lord Jesus, come, Lord Jesus.” Searching the sky, anticipating, “Come, Lord Jesus, come, Lord Jesus.” Hasten the day of the trumpet sounding. Hasten the day of the nations bowing. Come in the clouds, all of heaven crowning You King. Hear Your people shout, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Hear Your church cry out, “Come, Lord Jesus.” This is the hope we’re holding onto. This is our song; we’re waiting for You. Come, come and take us home. Come, Lord Jesus, come. Jesus, remember Your people; deliver Your people forever and ever! Jesus, remember Your people; deliver Your people forever and ever! Jesus, remember Your people; deliver Your people forever and ever! Jesus, remember Your people; deliver Your people forever and ever! Hear Your people shout, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Hear Your church cry out, “Come, Lord Jesus.” This is the hope we’re holding onto. This is our song; we’re waiting for You. Come, come and take us home. Come, Lord Jesus, Hear Your people shout, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Hear Your church cry out, “Come, Lord Jesus.” This is the hope we’re holding onto. This is our song; we’re waiting for You. Come, come and take us home. Come, Lord Jesus! Come! Come and take us home. Come, Lord Jesus, come! Come, Lord! Come! Come, Lord! Come! Come, Lord! Come!

2 “TO OUR GOD” All other kings are only pretenders, their power is small. All other kings are here for a moment, they rise and they fall. But You, O God, hold the world in Your hands. All creation surrenders command to our God, the Invincible, the All-powerful King of Glory. To our God, the Unshakable, unmistakable King of Glory. Let evr’y knee bow down; nations, relinquish your crowns to our God. You are the One, our Savior, Defender, You rescue our souls. All that we are is Yours for the taking. We give up control. For You, O God, hold our days in Your hands. Reign over us; we surrender command to our God, the Invincible, the All-powerful King of Glory. To our God, the Unshakable, unmistakable King of Glory. Let ev’ry knee bow down; nations relinquish your crowns to our God. All glory and majesty to our God, to our God. Strength and authority, give it all, give it all, give it all... To our God, the Invincible, the All-powerful King of Glory. To our God, the Unshakable, unmistakable King of Glory. To our God, the Invincible, the All-powerful King of Glory. To our God, the Unshakable, unmistakable King of Glory. Let ev’ry knee bow down; nations relinquish your crowns to our God! To our God!

“BECAUSE HE LIVES” God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus, He came to love, heal, and forgive. He lived and died to buy my pardon; An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives. (Chorus) Because He lives I can face tomorrow; Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives. (Chorus) Because He lives I can face tomorrow; Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives

3 “SEE THE MAN OF SORROWS NOW” Once You were humbled, heavy thorns upon Your brow. Once You were broken till Your love came raining down. Despised and rejected by the ones You came to save, You cried, “It is finished!" and the darkness had its day. But oh, what a morning when the stone was rolled away. And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the man of sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! Where, O death, is your victory? Where O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now! Where O death, is your victory? Where O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now!

4 “CHRIST IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED” How can it be, the One who died, has borne our sin through sacrifice to conquer every sting of death? Sing, sing hallelujah. For joy awakes as dawning light when Christ’s disciples lift their eyes, alive He stands, their Friend and King; Christ, Christ, He is risen. (Chorus) Christ is risen, He is risen indeed! Oh, sing hallelujah. Join the chorus, sing with the redeemed; Christ is risen, He is risen indeed. The Power that raised Him from the grave now works in us to powerfully save. He frees our hearts to live His grace; go tell of His goodness. (Chorus) Christ is risen, He is risen indeed! Oh, sing hallelujah. Join the chorus, sing with the redeemed; Christ is risen, He is risen indeed. (Chorus) Christ is risen, He is risen indeed! Oh, sing hallelujah. Join the chorus, sing with the redeemed; Christ is risen, He is risen indeed. (Bridge) He is risen! He’s alive! He’s alive! Heaven’s gates are open wide! He’s alive! He’s alive! Now in heaven, glorified! He’s alive! He’s alive! Heaven’s gates are open wide! He’s alive! He’s alive! Now in heaven, glorified! He’s alive! He’s alive! Heaven’s gates are open wide! He’s alive! He’s alive! Now in heaven, glorified! He’s alive! He’s alive! He’s alive!

5 “CHRIST THE LORD IS RISEN TODAY- HE’S ALIVE” Christ the Lord is risen today. Alleluia! Sons of men and angels say: Alleluia! Raise your joys and triumphs high. Alleluia! Sing, ye heavens, and earth, reply: Alleluia! Lives again our glorious King! Alleluia! Where, O death, is now thy sting: Alleluia! Dying once, He all doth save! Alleluia! Where thy victory, O grave! Alleluia! He is alive. He’s alive. He is alive. He’s alive. Jesus, the Lamb crucified He is alive. He’s alive. He is alive. He’s alive. He is alive. He’s alive. Jesus, the Lamb crucified. He is alive. He’s alive. Love’s redeeming work is done. Alleluia! Fought the fight, the battle won. Alleluia! Death in vain forbids Him rise. Alleluia! Christ has opened paradise. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! He is alive. He’s alive. He is alive, He’s alive. Jesus, the Lamb glorified. He is alive. He’s alive! He’s alive!

“THE POWER OF THE CROSS” (OH, TO SEE THE DAWN) (Chorus) This, the pow’r of the cross: Christ became sin for us. Took the blame, bore the wrath— We stand forgiven at the cross. Oh, to see my name written in the wounds, for through Your suffering I am free. Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live, won through Your selfless love. This, the power of the cross: Son of God – slain for us. What a love! What a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross.

6 INVITATION “HOW DEEP THE FATHER’S LOVE FOR US” How deep the Father’s love for us; how vast beyond all measure, that He should give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss; the Father turns His face away, as wounds which mar the Chosen One bring many sons to glory. Behold the man upon a cross; my sin upon His shoulders. Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there until it was accomplished. His dying breath has brought me life; I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything: No gifts, no power, no wisdom, but I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I can not give an answer, but this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom. But this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom. OFFERTORY “IN CHRIST ALONE” In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my Light, my strength, my song. This Cornerstone, this solid ground; firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love! What depths of peace when fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My Comforter, my all in all; here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone, who took on flesh; fullness of God in helpless Babe. This gift of love and righteousness, scorned by the ones He came to save; ‘Til on that cross as Jesus died the wrath of God was satisfied. For every sin on Him was laid. Here in the death of Christ I live. There in the ground His body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain. Then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave He rose again! And as He stands in victory, sin’s curse has lost its grip on me; For I am His and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ. No guilt in life, no fear in death: This is the pow’r of Christ in me. From life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand, ’til He returns or calls me home; here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand. No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand, ’til He returns or calls me home; Here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand. Here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand. BENEDICTION “BECAUSE HE LIVES” Because He lives I can face tomorrow; Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.
