WEEKLY PRAYER SHEET 07/02/2017

Czech Mission Team July 4-18 The following are the prayer requests from the team: •

Pray for safety and health for all while traveling and while they are in the country.

They are flying through two new airports. Pray for smooth connections.

Pray that God intentionally puts people in their path who need to know about Him while they are traveling and at camp, and they would be bold in sharing Christ with others.

This will be at a new camp location. They do not know what to expect in the way of teaching accommodations and classrooms. Pray that the Lord will work out all details.

Pray for Rick Early as he speaks at the Sunday service on July 9 at VMBC.

Pray for protection of other team members joining from Liverpool and Virginia, specifically connections and safety.

Pray for several people who will be at camp who are close to taking the final step in declaring Christ as their Savior.

The camp is full (over 85 Czech, plus the teams). Pray that we can get to know every camper in some way, so that they are motivated to come to Christ, or to start them on the path to Christ.

Several members on the team will be teaching new classes. Pray for guidance and a clear vision as to what should be taught.

Pray for those new members on this team as they experience camp for the first time.

Pray for the returning members of the team, that they will not relax their efforts while on the trip. We’d love to pray for you! Update our online prayer chain by going to easthaven.org. Click resources, then prayer. Click on share your prayer request and fill out the form.

May they know You as father to the fatherless and defender of widows! Let us be a real family to them when they are lonely. Show us ways to include them and minister grace to them. Stir up practical ideas in us that show Your love and care. Help them relax in Your grace and provision, which is more than enough for every weakness and need. 50+ LUNCHEON & PROGRAM FRIDAY, JULY 7 AT 12:00PM Defining Moments: Providence and Purpose We all face defining moments, moments where our reaction not only shows our character, it lays out our future. We either rise with confidence or cower in defeat. How do you react when business is slow or finances are tight, or divorce looms or sickness torments you or your loved ones? Come hear as Pearl weaves Biblical story telling with modern day reality, laying out a success plan for you to follow when defining moments cross your path. Pearl Galbraith is a gifted story teller who loves to inspire audiences. She launched a new business practice after the age of 50. In 2015, she founded a local non-profit, Inspired Women, which connects, celebrates and empowers working women, and she regularly laces up her sneakers as she strives to continually improve on her 5K run time.

WHAT: Our 50+ luncheons are for anyone 50 years and older. The program offers inspiration, information, and friendship. We’d love for you to invite a friend—guests are always welcome! WHEN: Friday, July 7, from 12:00PM—1:45PM WHERE: In the Theater at Easthaven Baptist Church (2010 Whitefish Stage, Kalispell) Lunch is provided for a cost of $5.
